Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure in the arteries, where systolic blood pressure ? 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ? 90 mmHg on repeated examinations. Application of boiled water therapy from soursop leaves is one intervention in lowering blood pressure in hypertension sufferers. The aim of this research is to describe soursop leaf boiled water therapy in reducing blood pressure in hypertension sufferers. The design of this research is descriptive research with a case study approach method. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation and physical examination. The respondents in this study were 2 people suffering from hypertension with the criteria of subjects being willing to become research subjects, subjects aged 26-55 years, subjects with blood pressure or grade 1 hypertension, subjects who were not pregnant, breastfeeding, individuals with high blood calcium levels, and kidney disease. The results of the study showed that the blood pressure before the intervention in subject I was 155/100 mmHg and the blood pressure in subject II was 150/100 mmHg. After the intervention in subject I the blood pressure became 130/90 mmHg and in subject II the blood pressure became 120/90 mmHg. This research proves that the application of soursop leaf boiled water therapy has an effect on lowering blood pressure in hypertension sufferers. It is hoped that this therapy can be used as an intervention in lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients.
