Stroke is paralysis of the limbs which makes it difficult for the patient to move and poses risks to skin integrity, one of which is pressure sores. Applying massage effluerage using virgin coconut oil is one intervention in preventing pressure ulcers in stroke patients. The aim of this research is to describe massage effluerage therapy using virgin coconut oil to prevent pressure ulcers in stroke patients. The design of this research is descriptive research with a case study approach method. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation and physical examination. The respondents in this study were 2 stroke patients with the criteria of cooperative subjects and willing to be respondents, respondents aged >50 years, respondents with stroke who experienced mobility problems/bed rest, respondents did not have complications that hindered massage therapy. The results of the study showed that the decubitus value before the intervention was carried out on subject I was 3 and the decubitus value on subject II was 3. After the intervention on subject I the decubitus value became 1 and on subject II the decubitus value became 1. This research proves that massage effluerage therapy uses Virgin coconut oil has an effect on preventing pressure ulcers in stroke patients. It is hoped that this therapy can be used as an intervention to prevent pressure ulcers in stoke patients..
