APPLICATION OF CLASSIC MUSIC THERAPY IN REDUCE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS IN PATIENTS AT RISK OF VIOLENT BEHAVIOR

Abstract

Mental disorder is a manifestation of a form of treatment deviation caused by emotional distortion and is also known as a multi-causal disease that affects a person's behavior disorder. Mozart's classical music therapy is one of the appropriate modalities in treating patients at risk of violent behavior. The purpose of this case study is to carry out nursing care for patients with violent behavior at the Banda Aceh mental hospital. This type of research is descriptive using a case study approach. Subjects in this study were patients with a medical diagnosis of Violent Behavior Risk Disorder with a study focus on providing Mozart classical music therapy. The results of the study showed that after the classical music therapy, Mozart showed good treatment progress in controlling the risk of violent behavior with a good level of assessment category of ability to control the risk of violent behavior with a score of 9.
