Hypertension is a health problem that often occurs in the community and its prevalence is quite high from year to year. This disease can cause serious risks for sufferers, and can even risk death. If uncontrolled, hypertension can lead to other complications such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease. The intervention that can be done is watermelon juice therapy which has tremendous benefits for health. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of watermelon juice administration in patients with hypertension. This research design uses descriptive with a case study approach method and data collection techniques through interviews and observations with a total of 2 respondents with hypertension who fit the criteria, namely late adult patients, cooperative subjects, mild hypertension patients, patients aged 35-40, patients do not experience other disease complications, and do not get other non-pharmacological therapies. The results showed that blood pressure before intervention in subject I was 140/90 mmHg and subject II was 150/100 mmHg. Blood pressure after the intervention of subject I was 128/84 mmHg, and subject II was 143/95 mmHg. This study proves that giving watermelon juice can reduce blood pressure in people with hypertension. It is hoped that this research can be one of the interventions in lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients.
