Diabetes mellitus isachronic disease that interferes with the metabolism of carbohydrates, fatsandproteins. Diabetes mellitus is characterized by an increase in blood sugar levels in the body above normal. In general, Diabetes Mellitus (DM) occurs as a result of a wrong lifestyle, especially things that cause accumulation of sugar levels in the blood and are above the normal threshold, which are chronic and long term. The impact of DM can be caused By higt blood glucose levels can damage the small blood vessels in the kidneys, heart, eyes and nervous system. This study aims to describe nursing care with the effect of fragrant pandan leaf decoction in reducing blood sugar levels in patients with Diabetes Mellitus. The respondent in this study were 2 people with Diabetes. The results ofthe study foundthat the average bloodsugar levelbefore being given fragrant pandan leaf boiled water was 229 with an average decrease in blood sugar levelsof 205. It is hoped that patient scanuse fragrant pandan as an alternative in lowering blood sugar and health workers can inform the the public about the benefits of fragrant pandan in reducing blood sugar.
