Elderly is a period of old age where there is a decline in the function of organs and body functions which causes a decline in social roles. Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure is >140/90 mmHg or more at the age of 13-50 years and reaches 160/95 mmHg at the age of over 50 years. There are several factors that cause hypertension such as age, gender, genetics, diet and stress. Prevention of hypertension can be overcome with non-pharmacological treatment, one of which is using tera exercises. Tera exercise is an exercise that trains physically and also to improve heart function and control hypertension. The aim of this research is to find out whether tera exercise therapy can reduce blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension. This research method uses descriptive research with a case study approach. This research was carried out at UPTD Rumoh Seujahtera Geunaseh Sayang Aceh Social Service from 15 July to 20 July 2024 with the number of subjects being 2 people aged 56-65 years with blood pressure 140-159/90-99 mmHg. The results of the study showed a decrease in blood pressure, where in subject I there was a decrease from 154/90 mmHg to 135/85 mmHg and in subject II from 159/85 mmHg to 121/80 mmHg. This research shows that tera exercise therapy is effective in lowering blood pressure in hypertension sufferers. It is hoped that the application of tera exercise therapy can be used as a non-pharmacological therapy to reduce blood pressure in the elderly
