Hallucinations are a loss of the human ability to differentiate between thought stimuli and external world stimuli. Thought stopping therapy is an intervention in controlling hallucinations in hallucinating patients. The aim of this research is to describe nursing care using thought stopping therapy in controlling hallucinations in hallucinating patients. This research design is descriptive with a case study approach. This research uses assessment sheets, SOPs, tools and materials such as alarms, and stationery. The respondents in this study were two hallucinatory patients with the criteria, namely cooperative, willing to be respondents, not blind, deaf and mute. The results of the study showed that before the intervention was carried out in both subjects it was still difficult to control the hallucinations. After the intervention, hallucinations were carried out, there was an increase in control that occurred in both subjects by changing negative thoughts into positive thoughts. This research proves that the application of thought stopping therapy is effective in increasing the control of hallucinations in patients with hallucinations. It is hoped that this thought stopping therapy can be used as an intervention to improve the control of hallucinations in patients with hallucinations.
