Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels resulting from impaired insulin secretion or insulin action. Diabetic foot exercises represent a non-pharmacological therapy that can help lower blood glucose levels. This case study aimed to examine the application of diabetic foot exercises in reducing blood glucose levels among patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Gampong Beurawe, Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh City. The study employed a descriptive method with a case study approach involving two female subjects with Type 2 DM. The intervention was conducted over five consecutive days, with a frequency of once daily. The results demonstrated that the application of diabetic foot exercises was effective in lowering blood glucose levels in both subjects. Subject I (Mrs. N, 48 years old) experienced a decrease in blood glucose levels from 450 mg/dL to 202 mg/dL, while Subject II (Mrs. P, 50 years old) experienced a decrease from 320 mg/dL to 190 mg/dL. The study concludes that diabetic foot exercises are effective in helping to lower blood glucose levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
