It is very important to develop fine motor skills in pre-school aged children, where children experience many very significant changes, to provide stimulation to children, appropriate stimulation is needed to develop their fine motor skills, namely by playing montages. The aim of this research is to determine the activity of montage play therapy on improving fine motor development in children aged 4-6 at Keumala Bhayangkari I Kindergarten, Jaya Baru District, Banda Aceh City. This research method uses a one group pre and posttest design. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The sample in the study was 2 Keumala Bhayangkari Kindergarten students, a tool for measuring fine motor
development in children using an observation sheet. The results of this study showed that both children experienced an increase in fine motor development after being given montage play therapy with the average result incycle I being 19.32% with the percentage obtained being 31.10% (BB). Meanwhile, cycle II was 43.32% with a percentage obtained of 100% (BSB). Montage play therapy is effective in improving fine motor development in pre-school children aged 4-5 years at Keumala Bhayangkari I Kindergarten, Jaya Baru District, Banda Aceh City.
