Dysmenorrhea is a pain during menstruation that is felt in the lower abdomen and appears before, during or after menstruation. Dysmenorrhea can have a bad impact on the health of adolescent girls if left untreated, including causing headaches, severe low back pain, disrupted activity, fertility disorders, and complicating the process of pregnancy. Dysmenorrhea gymnastics is one of the nonpharmacological techniques that can reduce complaints of pain during menstruation. Through gymnastics, it can automatically help stretch around the abdominal, pelvic and waist muscles, and produce endorphins so that it provides a relaxing sensation and can reduce pain. This study aims to illustrate the application of dysmenorrhea gymnastics in reducing menstrual pain in adolescent girls. The type of research used is descriptive with a case study approach. This research was conducted from January 27 - February 15, 2023 with 2 respondents. From the results of the study found before the administration of therapy, the scale of pain in subject I was at number 3. And after the application of gymnastics therapy, the pain scale in subject I decreased to 0. While in subject II, the pain scale felt on the first day was at number 3, and decreased with the application of gymnastics until the pain scale was at number 0 and the duration and quality of pain that was not felt again on the fourth day, the last day of application. Thus this exercise can be an alternative nonpharmacological action in overcoming pain during menstruation.
